I’m looking to start mining bitcoin from my bedroom. What ASIC would you suggest?
I don’t have to pay electricity. I’m looking for something small that I could keep in my room running 24/7. Something that would hopefully pay itself off within a few months. I’m hoping to spend less than, oh... $300? Is what I’m asking for possible? I really just need recommendations for a beginning miner. Any input is appreciated
Imagine if all the money miners spend on buying new ASIC rigs would go directly into the purchase of bitcoins. Imagine also if all the cost associated with operating mining farms would be virtually eliminated and therefore greatly reducing amount of bitcoins miners have sell to keep operating.
That is effectively one of the things ETH 2.0 is bringing to the table. It will also result in lower issuance, a rapid increase in network scaling. This is a very exciting development for cryptocurrencies as a whole, and if the implementation is successful there are a lot of reasons to believe it will catapult Ether's price. If you are a maximalist (on either side of the fence), please consider hedging your investment. It is a responsible approach specially when dealing with a highly speculative and volatile asset class. Cheers!

''' Hi, I'm new to the crypto world! I decided to invest $6 to see what would happen on an eBay listing for a three-hour Asic mining contract. The listing promised at least 1000 doge minimum. Approximately half an hour after making the purchase on eBay, the seller wrote me that he sent 1000 doge and the mining was complete. Maybe I'm wrong and I'm hoping I can get some insight here, but if the contract is for 3 hours, shouldn't I get a full three hours worth of mining even if I do surpass the minimum promised amount of crypto?
